PROGENDEX Pty Ltd is very proud to present to the Australian market these outstanding products.
In 1908 Joseph and Gabrielle Dubarry united their destinies and settled in Gimont in the heart of the South West of France. Together they decided to make the "best Foie Gras in the world".
To market their product they decided to establish direct and close contact with the clientele by visiting trade fairs. From city to city, they soon became well known and their specialities much appreciated.
100 years later, "the best Foie Gras in the world" and many varieties of Terrines have now reached Australia. We would like to give you the opportunity to share their passion for traditional, quality cooking. Comtesse du Barry, still a family business, has come a long way in one hundred years.
To follow their steps we have decided to offer our whole selection to "delicatesse" shops. Customers can also pass their order directly to us as a mail order and receive the goods directly to their address at home, as it is done in France today.
In January 2008 Comtesse du Barry is once again rewarded at the National Agricultural Fair in Paris with a silver medal for its semi-preserved whole Foie-Gras and with a bronze medal for its Goose Rillettes.
To see the range of products available in Australia, please access to the order form. Choose from Duck and Goose Foies Gras to Hare, Rillettes, Wild Boar and Guinea Fowl with apples and calvados Terrines to have the most exclusive "delicatesse" on your table.
